Fun with handwoven fabric!

Good morning and happy Saturday! I want to spend as little time writing as possible this morning as I would prefer to spend more of it working with this piece of wool fabric that I wove on my rigid heddle loom.

The full 24 inch width was warped with the bright green mohair, and the weft was alternating strands of the dark green wool and the mossy green wool/alpaca blend. More will be written when this project is done.

There are also a few small pieces of fabric of scarf width, but only 15 to 20 inches in length. The piece was intended to be a scarf, but after looking at this fabric for a while, I think it will be more useful as three individual pieces. More on that when it is done too.

The folding table I use for sewing projects takes up a pretty good chunk of my craft room, but it is easy to set up when I need it and store it away when I need it. My honestly-not-so-trusty Singer is already threaded up with a matching lime green thread, so I am going to get to it.

Have a great weekend!
