Look at all those pussy hats!

Good morning, and happy Saturday!
Did you participate in one of the Women’s Marches last weekend? Please share your experience in the comments below! I was thrilled to see all of the pictures in my Facebook feed posted by friends who were attending some of the various marches held here around the country and the world. It looks like attendance at all of the marches was was so great that it ticked off our tiny-handed Tweeter-In-Chief.

In last week’s post I said I was looking forward to seeing a sea of pussy hats at the marches, and my gosh I was not disappointed! Some of the most amazing images from the marches were shared by Mike Hudema on Twitter.

What an amazing thing to see so many in the fiber arts community united and standing up for the rights of women everywhere.
Since the marches though, one shop has made some rather nasty comments about the marches that took place and the people who participated in them. That shop owner certainly has a right to her opinion, but calling people who could very well be your customers “vile” doesn’t seem like a very good way to run a business. If you claim to promote values of mutual respect, love, compassion, understanding, and integrity, you might want to re-think how you market your business.
